No way? Get Outta Town!

So, you might have noticed that I kind of dropped off the face of the blog-earth for about two weeks. You didn't notice? Oh...

Token Tourist-y Picture
Well, yeah, I was AWOL from the blog for two weeks. For one of those two weeks I was traveling. For the second of those two weeks I was recovering from my travel. Where was I? I was in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C.! Even though I was gone, I thought about you (almost) all the time. In fact, I was hard at work for YOU. You see, whenever I am anywhere I have this tendency to look at the interior and exterior design, architecture, what have you. Even though I was travelling for work-related reasons, I did not leave the blog at home, if you will. In fact, I brought my camera wherever and snapped pictures as much as I could.

Washington, D.C., has some wicked awesome architecture to behold (in addition to all of the other site seeing attractions). I am not just talking about the Monuments and government buildings either. There are some of--and I am going to sound like a total girl when I say it---c*u*t*e*s*t houses ever in the D.C. area. Every one has seen at least some pictures of the "you need to go here when you are in D.C." places, so this post is not going to be one of those. Instead, I am going to show you another side of D.C. that you really could only see if you were actually IN the city. Why? Because these places are of no importance, just random houses and buildings I walked by. Here are some views of my album. I hope that you get as many Oohs-and-Ahhs as I did!

Yeah, sorry, there is just no way to look cool on a Segway

Beautifully architecture-d buildings like this one were random wedged between two modern ones!

Occupy D.C. ....So aesthetically pleasing

Oh, yeah, D.C.! Who knew you had all of this in your back pocket??
