As much as I'd like to claim to be unique and original in all of my mad skills (so humbly said, I know), I can't make such a claim about myself. Plain and simple: Artsy-fartsy skills run through my family. Take this key box for example, from IKEA:
Sure, it's nice enough. It gets the job done, holding keys and all.
But who wants boring when you can have Mary-Engelbright-Inspired Fabulousness??
You just can't say no |
That's right, no one will say no to a fabulous update like this. (If you are thinking to yourself, "Well, actually I beg to differ...", let me assure you thta you are alone in that thought). But, alas, I cannot take credit for this wonderful transformation. All the honor and glory goes to my little sister, Betsy, who is quite the little artisian. She just wrapped up a "Winter Break" from high school and is back at the books today. Though she is quite a smart cookie, she used those precious off-days to transform the family key dispensery into a piece of art. Way to stay well-rounded, Betsy!
Well I am flattered Mary! Thanks for putting this up! ~Betsy :)
